To generate SBI Debit Card Green PIN through IVR system, you need to call toll free number 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800 from your registered mobile number. Before starting this process, keep your ATM card and account number ready so that their details can be entered immediately if needed.
How to Generate SBI Green Pin?
To generate a green PIN, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Press 2 for ATM / Debit Card related services when the call is connected.
Step 2: Press 1 for pin generation from the IVR menu.
Step 3: If making a call from the registered mobile number, IVR will ask you to press 1 or press 2 to talk to the customer agent.
Step 4: IVR will ask you to enter the last 5 digits of your ATM card for which you want to generate a green PIN. Press 1 to confirm the last 5 digits. If you miss registering, then press 2 again to re-enter the last 5 digits of the ATM card.
Step 5: After this you will be asked to enter the last 5 digits of your account number. If the digits entered are correct then press 1 or press 2 to re-enter the last 5 digits of the account number.
Step 6: Then you have to enter the year of your birth.
After this, the green PIN will be created and will be sent to your registered mobile number. You will have to go to the nearest ATM within 24 hours to get the PIN received.

SBI Net Banking is another way to generate green PIN through Internet banking. If you are a NetBanking user, follow these steps to generate a green PIN.
Step 1: First go to www.onlinesbi.com and enter the user ID and password and log in to your account.
Step 2: After successful login, select ‘ATM Card Services’ under ‘e-Services’ tab.
Step 3: Select ‘ATM PIN Generation’. There are two options through which ATM PIN can be generated. These include using an OTP or profile password. Here we have used OTP method to generate PIN.
Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter OTP in the required column.
Step 5: You have to select the savings account with which your ATM card is linked. Then click on ‘Continue’.
Step 6: Select the ATM card for which the PIN is to be generated. Then click on submit.
Step 7: Enter the first two digits of the new PIN you want to create. The remaining two digits will be sent to you via SMS.
Step 8: Enter the two digits previously selected and the two digits received via SMS on the mobile number. Click on ‘Submit’. Your green pin will be generated successfully.
Remember that in case of new ATM card, you will need to activate the card first. The card can be activated in ‘ATM Card Services’ under the ‘E-Services’ section.
To change your ATM PIN through SMS, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Send SMS from your registered mobile number in a fixed format. It has to be sent to 567676. This format should be in the form of ‘PIN CCCC AAAA’. Here are the last four digits of the CCCC ATM card. AAAA is the last 4 digits of the bank account number.
Step 2: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Then you have to go to SBI ATM to change your debit card PIN. Remember that OTP will be valid for only two days. SBI advises that it should be done in 24 hours.
