How to use the feature?
To use this service, SBI customers have to send an SMS from their mobile phone number which is registered with the bank. If you have not registered the mobile number with the bank, then register by sending SMS to 09223488888 with <REG> <space> your account number.
Talking about the new security feature given by the bank by tweeting, the bank tweeted, ‘Introducing a new facility to protect our customers. Now every time we receive request for #BalanceEnquiry or #MiniStatement through ATM, we will send SMS alerts to our customers. So that if they do not initiate the transaction, then their #DebitCard can be blocked immediately. ‘
