How to use EPFO WhatsApp Helpline? : Through this initiative, PF shareholders can interact directly with the regional offices of EPFO at the individual level. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently started a WhatsApp helpline service for speedy redressal of complaints from its subscribers. In this regard, the Ministry of Labor and Employment had issued a press release on 13 October 2020. This facility is unlike other platforms for resolving complaints of EPFO.
These platforms include EPFIGMS portal (EPFO’s online complaint resolution portal), CPGRAMS, social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) and 24-hour call center.
Through this initiative, PF shareholders can interact directly with the regional offices of EPFO at the individual level. Now WhatsApp helpline services have been started in all 138 regional offices of EPFO. Any related party where they have PF account can register any type of complaint regarding the services related to EPFO through WhatsApp message on the helpline number of the concerned Regional Office.
>To solve the complaint related to your EPF account through WhatsApp, you first need to know the location of your branch office. There are different WhatsApp helpline numbers for different branch offices. For example, if your regional office is in central Delhi then WhatsApp helpline number is 8178457507. If your regional office is located in South Delhi then WhatsApp helpline number is 9717547174.

How to find your regional office?
As mentioned above, each regional office has a separate WhatsApp helpline number. Therefore it is important for you to know in which regional office your EPF account is. Here’s how you can find the regional office.
Step 1: First go to www.epfindia.gov.in
Step 2: Select ‘For Employers’ in the tab ‘Services’.
Step 3: A new web page will open on your screen. Under the ‘Services’ tab select ‘Establishment Search’.
Step 4: A new web page will open on your screen where the details can be searched using the name of the institute and / or part of the institute code number (7 digits only). Enter details and captcha code in the given column and click on ‘Search’. ‘Establishment’ is the institution in which you are working. Remember that even if you do not have the installation code of your institute, you can search for it by name.
If more than one result appears, then click on ‘View Details’ and select the address mentioned on the screen with the address addressed on your EPF statement to select the correct establishment.
This will show details of the installation. This includes the Establishment Code, Establishment Status (Examination Status), EPFO Office Name, EPFO Office Address etc.
Address will help you to find WhatsApp number from the list to solve your query. Remember that this facility is available only for 138 regional offices. Thus you may not find your regional office in the list for now. Apart from this, you will also get an answer on your WhatsApp number.
